"The food here is divine, with the short rib banh mi being an absolute standout. The meat was juicy and tender, with the authentic banh mi flavours still standing out! Serving sizes are quite generous as well! As a party of three, we still had to takeaway some of the food. The service here is lovely as well! When staff noticed we were celebrating, we were given a complimentary dessert! Would absolutely recommend Tứng Thịt for a special day feed!"

"This place is a big wow factor. We were enticed via a TikTok post and we were not disappointed. The Bahn mi was mouth watering, the t bone was extraordinary and the chips were amazing. Special mention for the unique pepper steak used with the steak. Service was incredible. I’ll be going back. What an experience."

"This place was such a pleasant surprise. The steak was spot on. Not many places know how to do a medium rare steak well. This place does. And their chips, on point. The striploin wagyu MS4 steak was everything i have been lookimg for in a steak during the last few weeks. The short ribs pho had a super clean taste. Was supposed to be a shared dish, but the kid didnt want to share and finished it all. And the vietnamese coffee tastes like it was made in Vietnam. The restaurant is absolutely stunning — thoughtfully decorated with iconic Vietnamese touches, from the vintage bike displays to the nostalgic old Hanoi atmosphere. It truly feels immersive and authentic. There’s plenty of seating for both casual dining and private bookings, making it a great space for different occasions. The food was fantastic. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. Quick service, great value, and the kind of place you keep coming back to. If you’re nearby, don’t overthink it. Meant to be Melbourne’s most expensive Bahn mi but it was worth it."

"We finally made it to the TungThit Abbotsford last night and glad to say that the experience exceeded all expectations. The food was amazing and the service was six star. Their teamwork was impeccable, layering after one another, in support. We had the bone marrow for Appetiser. Split in half, perfect for two to share. Served with bread and home made chimichurri sauce, they balanced the richness so well. The Mains was Crab Fried Rice with Wagyu. The flavour was banging. Generous amounts of crab meat with each mouthful. It was served with a homemade chilli oil which elevated the deliciousness to next level. The wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth and umami umai! A delightful dish. The other Mains was the sizzling steak aka "Shaking" Rump. Came with fries and an egg on a sizzling hot plate based with a beef-wine reduction, laced with tomato and onion. Simply heavenly. Put a smile to my face. The recommended Pinot Noir paired well with all the dishes. We were fortunate that Anthony himself was in the house, celebrating their 5th year, starting from a humble shop in a shopping mall. We received a complimentary tiramisu as part of the celebration. Incredible. Paired with hot Vietnamese coffee. A great way to wrap up an enjoyable experience."

"We came here tonight for my cousin’s birthday, and the team honestly went above and beyond for us. I mentioned the celebration super last minute, and they still surprised us with a complimentary dessert and gathered to sing happy birthday. It was such a sweet touch and made the night feel extra special. The staff especially Bee & Kits were incredibly welcoming, comforting, and genuinely lovely from the moment we walked in. You can really feel the warmth and care they put into their service, and they made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the food… AMAZING. Every dish was full of flavour and so well done, definitely one of those places you keep thinking about afterwards. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion, whether it’s a celebration or just a nice dinner out. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Have been going to Tungthit since day 1 in the old Springvale shop, thought we would come down here for our birthday, walk in, no booking, luckily we were able to get a seat. Service was incredible, like a high end restaurant, urban class, Food: Bone Marrow > unreal, tastes incredible a must have and the chimichurri that comes with it is unreal, to the point we asked for it for our steaks. Hot take - the chimichurri should be a side for steaks. Steak with chips - 400grams, enough for the two of us, this alone was filling enough for two people Steak and crab rice - sooo good, I'm not a big fan of seafood rice but this was good, we ended up taking this home Complimentary tiramisu - was really good, very authentic"
